You know those couples you see on Instagram and Facebook who are always adventuring, smiling, holding hands, and just seem completely in love? This pretty much describes Fan and Mike, they met while in college and have been inseparable ever since! When you find the person who you can be your most serious and most goofy self with and they accept and enjoy both, you know you have found your true love!

While everyone was getting ready at The Otesaga, the staff at the Feinmore Art Museum was preparing for the ceremony and reception. Fan greeted Nicole and I with a huge smile and open arms on the morning of her wedding. These ladies had a blast getting ready and even jumped on the bed with excitement!! SO FUN! Fan’s parents and some of her family flew all the way from China to make sure they were a part of this big day. Their ceremony was lake front complete with sailboats on the water slowing sailing by as these two confessed their love and promises to one another in front of their closest family and friends.

I walked into the reception space and one of the first things I saw was their favors. They had a custom cookie cutter made that resembled them and everyone received a Fan & Mike cookie!!! Be ready everyone because cookies with my face on them may possibly be in the works!! Shortly after their reception began, Fan and Mike snuck away to change into traditional Chinese wedding attire and performed a Chinese tea ceremony. These intimate moments during the ceremony were so special as each one of their parents accepted the other into their families forever! To be able to witness two cultures colliding and becoming one is magical and incredibly special.

As I watched Fam and Mike interact throughout the day, they always looked at each other with so much love and admiration. Mike’s goofiness never failed to make Fan laugh and Fan’s gentle tough created contentment over Mike’s face. To say I am honored to capture the moments of their wedding would be an understatement! Congratulations Fan & Mike!
