Way back in 2017 I photographed Marissa and Chris in Skaneateles for their engagement session. In 2018 we got together again on their wedding day at The Otesaga in Cooperstown to document another big day! Now, in 2020, I had the joy of photographing them again for their maternity session at Peebles Island State Park in Cohoes, NY! Every time we get together to document a special occasion it tends to be at least 85 degrees with 100% humidity. I’m not quite sure how they continue to look stunning at every one of their sessions in the New York Summer heat. It’s definitely a talent they have acquired!
Peebles Island is a gorgeous park with so many beautiful spots for picnics, pictures and they also have some hiking trails to explore the great outdoors! Marissa, Chris and I met 2 hours before sunset to get that dreamy golden hour light! With Marissa due in about 4 weeks I knew we may need to take a A/C break at some point because being pregnant in the middle of Summer can be rough! These two were troopers and I am so excited to meet sweet baby B! Marissa and Chris always come dressed to impress! They have the best style and I’m always excited to see which dresses she has picked out and what fancy shirts Chris is rocking! I can only imagine how their baby boy will be adorably dressed. I already cannot wait to see photos of their little one!
Watching these two over the past few years has been such a treat. I’m so excited continue to see their beautiful and kind family blossom from two to three within in the next month! Next time we’ll plan for a Winter shoot to avoid the intense heat! Congratulations Marissa and Chris!
