Glen Sanders Mansion Wedding

Being back at Glen Sanders mansion in Scotia, New York for the second weekend in a row was incredible! I have been looking forward to Mariah and Brian‘s wedding for the longest time and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! From their stunning and simplistic details in the morning all the way through the club, like party scene at their reception, it was absolute perfection!

With 13 groomsmen and 8 bridesmaids, plus the bride and groom, the wedding party themselves, and were an absolute blast! The thing about their large bridal party that was extra special was not only the constant hype they exuded, but also how close everyone seem to be. I think it’s super rare for that many people to be the best of friends and to celebrate like no one else! Because Mariah was close with the groomsmen she decided she wanted to do a first look with her entire wedding party! All of their reactions were priceless! Just picture 21 of your closest, friends, hooting, hollering, cheering, clapping, etc. in the moment that they see you the first time on your wedding day! It was amazing!!

Next up, we have Brian, who, to be honest I didn’t think I was a sappy guy. Boy, did this groom prove me wrong! Mariah and Brian’s first look was so sweet! He was tearing up before he even turned around to see his stunning bride! From there, we moved on to some portraits and laughed throughout their entire portrait portion of photos. As I was doing some individual pictures, there were some music playing in the background. Whatever song came on hit Brian right in the feels and this man started crying all over again! Watching Mariah and Brian throughout their day is some thing that all holds close to my heart forever. The endearing way they looked at each other exuded so much love it was palpable! I’ve gotten pretty good at holding it together during weddings, but these two broke me!

Right up until their wedding party came out in the mood changed into share party mode! If anyone is looking for a hype squad, I’ve got 23 people ready to go!! I laughed, so stinking hard and consistently smiled so much so that my cheeks were aching and we weren’t even halfway done shooting their wedding! What a blast!!!

Mariah and Brian’s wedding exceeded my expectations for the celebration they put together! I knew it was going to be a party, but definitely underestimated the the length of the celebration which started from the moment we walked in, and probably even before that, throughout the rest of the evening! There’s simple and elegant style mixed with a whole lots of love for each other. The ultimate hype squad and a stunning venue made for the perfect wedding day!
