Esha and Jamie are not your typical couple. Living life on the road in their RV, they love to explore. So, when it came time to tie the knot, they knew their wedding had to be just as unique as their love story. Throughout their adventures, they found a beautiful spot in Florida that they deemed as one of their favorite places. So, when it came time to plan their wedding they knew they wanted to head back to their favorite place. Their Crystal River elopement was private and intimate and they celebrated with just the two of them. Oh and some ice cream of course!
Crystal River, Florida, is one of their favorite spots they found during their travels for many reasons. Being on the Gulf Coast of Florida it offers stunning beaches and a tranquil atmosphere. The sunsets are magical on the Gulf Coast and you can often find manatees during certain times of the year! It’s peaceful, especially on a Spring day during the week. Which was perfect for the privacy they were looking for.
With a boho theme in mind, Esha and Jamie found her wedding dress and his suit at thrift stores. Rather than opting for a more traditional approach in wedding dress shopping. They made memories together while trying on dresses and suits at thrift stores to find the perfect outfits to get married in! Sounds like such a fun elopement activity to make their day even more unique.
The day began at a private park in Crystal River. Once they were dressed, we spent a little time walking around the park for portraits. There was hardly anyone around so we had a majority of the park with a beautiful view all to ourselves! Once they were ready, it was time for their ceremony.
Intimate Ceremony in Crystal River
Before their elopement, I went to the locations we were considering visiting throughout their day. There were a few options for their ceremony at this park so I let them tell me what they liked best! We found a spot surrounded by tall palm trees and Spanish moss. It was such a dream spot for their intimate ceremony!
Esha and Jamie each took their time saying their vows to each other. The sun shining through the trees was a beautiful addition to their ceremony. Thank you, Mother Nature! Once they exchanged rings with huge smiles on their faces, it was time to conclude their ceremony. But not without a with a first kiss of course!
Their love for each other was palpable, and as they exchanged vows, it was clear that they were each other’s perfect match. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and the sound of the waves, Esha and Jamie promised to love and cherish each other for all eternity.
Elopement Celebration at the Beach
After a few more “just married” photos at the park, we drove down to a small beach. Esha and Jamie love ice cream! So in celebration of the beginning of their marriage, they wanted to share their favorite ice cream on the beach. We quickly realized that their ice cream was thoroughly melted, making ice cream soup. Melted cookie dough ice cream mixed with a very windy beach meant that it was going to me a huge mess… But they didn’t care at all! They happily share their Ben and Jerry’s pint while getting covered in the melted dessert and laughed the whole time!
Once they got cleaned up, they wanted to explore the beach a bit and take in the views. With only a handful of other beachgoers, they had most of the beach to themselves! They took their time walking along the shoreline hand in hand. Esha and Jamie also ran through a flock of seagulls embracing their inner children. Giggling and smiling with each other with ever step.
Crystal River Sunset
As the sun began to set over the Gulf Coast, Esha and Jamie took in the peaceful views of the water. They shared some quiet moments before ending their elopement with a dance during sunset. It was the perfect way to complete their Crystal River elopement. A day that they’ll never forget!
Their elopement was not just a celebration of their love but also a testament to their adventurous spirits. It was a day filled with laughter, joy, and the promise of many more adventures to come. Esha and Jamie’s love story is a reminder that the most beautiful moments are found in the simplest of settings.
