Baseball Theme First Birthday Party

A baseball theme first birthday party for this kiddo was beyond perfection. Somehow, Calvin has turned one already and it seems that time is flying by! Back in 2017 I met his parents for the first time while photographing their wedding at Gilbertsville Farmhouse. Fast forward to the Fall of 2020, I photographed Abbey and Jordan’s maternity photos! Then a few very short weeks later we did Calvin’s newborn pictures. After a whole year, it came full circle and I shot his first birthday party!

Watching this family grow has been such a huge blessing! If you don’t know Abbey and Jordan or their family, you’re missing out. They are some of the most genuine, kind, welcoming and warm hearted people I have ever met. Calvin is one lucky baby to have them for parents and they lucked out with him as well!

Calvin’s baseball first birthday party was a huge success! Abbey went all out with baseball themed decor, ballpark food, and even had guests wear their favorite baseball jersey to tie it all together! When this lady gets an idea in her head, consider it done! She even supplied Cracker Jacks, Big League Chew bubble gum and sunflower seeds!

We also need to talk about the incredible sundae bar she but together for dessert! If you didn’t know this already the Hernandez family are massive New York Yankee Fans! So naturally a baseball themed party was a no brainer. They ordered NY Yankee sundae cups to finish out the party with a sweet treat and it was a hug hit! (no pun intended… okay, maybe it was a little)

From Calvin’s ear wide smiles throughout his birthday party, I’d say he loved it! He ate all the yummy foods, got hugs from everyone and throughly enjoyed his baseball cake which of course Abbey made herself!

“Nicole, once again I am blown away by your talent and ability to capture these precious moments. As you’re aware, I was running around in crazy mama mode, so I wasn’t able to catch many of these moments as they happened. I’m so thankful to have you be a part of each and every milestone my family has had. I can’t wait to share these photos with the attendees and also my grandparents who are both dealing with major medical issues and were unable to attend. You made it so I could pull off a really fun event and not have to have my phone out taking pictures so I thank you so much!”
