Mirror Lake is the heart and soul of Lake Placid, offering beautiful a beautiful waterfront and panoramic views of the Adirondacks. It’s seriously breathtaking! Whether you choose a sunrise ceremony with the soft light bathing you both or a sunset moment with hues of pink and orange, Mirror Lake provides an unforgettable setting for your special day. Plus, the easy access to the village means you can slip away for some cozy celebration drinks afterward!

Keep in mind that Mirror Lake is a very popular place which means there will probably be quite a bit of people around. That being said, because it’s in the heart of Lake Placid, there is so much to do during every season. From the Olympic Museums and Olympic Jumping Complex to bobsledding, boating, hiking, and gorges such as High Falls Gorge, there is something for everyone in all seasons!

Whiteface Mountain

For adventurous souls and mountain lovers, Whiteface Mountain is your elopement paradise.
