The chances are pretty good that you have heard me talk about C & A Event Planning, a lovely mother daughter duo who strive to make every bride’s dream come true on their wedding day! This blog is extra special because Ashley, the A of C & A Event Planning, married her best friend, love, and soulmate on September 1st and I had the pure pleasure, honor and utter joy of capturing her very special day!

When I arrived at Gilbertsville Farmhouse to begin shooting, Ashley wasn’t sitting down getting her hair or makeup done or having a little bubbly… she was working… on her wedding day!! She was moving chairs and tables, making her vision come true by placing florals and greenery around the venue, and coordinating with the Sharon, the lovely owner of Gilberstville Farmhouse. I mean, this woman just doesn’t stop and you could tell she was loving every minute of it! Shortly before Ethan and the boys arrived Ashley finally slowed down to get her hair and make up done and I began photographing her details. Her necklace held a precious diamond from her family and a blue heart was sewn into her dress embroidered with the date as well as “Ashley & Ethan”. Similar to the one that Ashley was gifting Ethan that morning! 

Once again I was thankful for the camera that I hold in front of my face because I couldn’t help but become overwhelmed with emotion as she read a sweet note from her soon-to-be husband! This wasn’t the only time these two made their guests cry… their vows to each other had tears of joy running down the faces of their parents as they watch their babies make promises of love to each other for the rest of their lives!

The rest of their day was filled with lots of love, hugs, and dancing! I am still in awe that yet again, Ashley pulled of another breathtaking wedding which just so happened to be her own!  Here are some of my favorite photographs from their special day!
