You must reserve a time/date to propose here and there is a fee so make sure to do your homework on a Highland Castle proposal.

2. Whiteface Mountain – Wilmington, NY

Whiteface Mountain is an epic location for a proposal with 360 degree view of Adirondack Mountains! Although there is a fee to drive up to the summit, it’s well worth it with it’s easy access and jaw dropping views. Plan to get there first thing when they open the gates and avoid weekends if possible. This is a popular location but one of my favorite places near Lake Placid that’s accessible for everyone! Be sure to check their website for daily conditions and hours as this perfect proposal spot is only open seasonally.

3. The Pinnacle – Lake George, NY

This short and easy hike leads to panoramic views of Lake George. The trail is beginner-friendly and perfect for couples who want a bit of adventure without a strenuous hike. Propose at the summit, where the view stretches across the lake and surrounding peaks. Maybe even pack a little picnic with some bubbly to celebrate!

4. Up Yonda Farm – Bolton Landing, NY

For a quiet and nature-filled proposal, Up Yonda Farm is a hidden gem. The farm features walking trails, gardens, and scenic views of Lake George. It’s a lovely spot for an intimate moment surrounded by wildflowers or autumn foliage. There’s a small $5 fee to park and it’s recommended to call ahead of time to make sure they don’t have any larger groups of people planned to be when you plan to propose. 5. Marcy Field – Keene, NY

Rather than hike a mountain, planning to propose in a valley surrounded by mountains will be just as beautiful! Marcy Field in Keene, NY is a very easy to get to location with mountains, a large field and a creek across the street. With plenty of parking and just a short walk to a beautiful view, Marcy Field is a great spot for your ADK proposal!

If you aren’t a huge hiker but love nature, Cobble Lookout is the perfect “hike” for you. 8. Owl’s Head Mountain – Long Lake, NY

This easy hike rewards you with sweeping views of Long Lake and the surrounding wilderness. This trail is on private land and is closed Friday – Sunday so keep that in mind when planning your Adirondack Proposal.
