A wedding at Hayloft at the Arch, surrounded by only their closest family and friends was the perfect celebration for Tanner and Becca! Their story starts way back in high school! When Tanner, being the gentleman that he is, constantly held open the door for Becca. For the next few years they grew their relationship into a solid bond that can never be broken. Becca’s kind spirited personality mixed with Tanner’s caring heart make the perfect pair.
They’ve been through quite a lot together. They even moved from New York to Florida to begin new chapter of their lives together. Which just so happens to be where their engagement session was last year! They even adopted, Ace, the happiest pup ever and are now parents of a cute cat as well. They’ve supported each other through college, job changes, moving away from family and the every day ups and downs of life. Honestly, they’re just the best and I’m so happy to not only have them as one of my couples but as my friends too!
Having a smaller intimate wedding fit their personalities perfectly. They’re the type of people who highly value the relationships they have with others. If that wasn’t apparent throughout their wedding day, I’m not sure how else you would be able to feel or see it.
Becca’s first look with her father almost had me in tears. The joy and proud feelings that were shown on her father’s face were priceless! Then a few minutes later, she shared a first look with her soon-to-be husband, Tanner. The love they have for each other is incredible to witness, even after all these years of being together. I adore the banter they have together mixed in with all their sweet and charming tendencies.
Unfortunately, Becca’s sister and Maid of Honor, Alex, wasn’t able to attend. Although is was hard for them not to have her there, she was there in spirit and through FaceTime! Becca’s Dad was in charge of setting up and moving around an iPad so Alex could join in the festivities from a distance. A prerecorded speech was played during the reception for everyone to hear and watch from Becca’s Maid of Honor. It left a lot of people in happy tears. It was also kind of amazing because now they have her speech recorded to listen to whenever they want!
As the night went on, Becca and Tanner celebrated with everyone in attendance. They kept their wedding guest list to under 100 of their closest family and friends. Smaller weddings like this always seem to be what I gravitate towards. Intimate weddings are so special in so many ways!
