Windridge Estate Wedding

Picture this, we walk into Windridge Estate to take a peak around this stunning wedding venue in Cazenovia, NY. Upon entering the reception space, we find the groom, Todd, humbling sitting in a chair. Working quickly to assemble crucial piece of decor for the center pieces that came in the mail just the night before the wedding. This man would do absolutely anything for his beautiful bride! Even putting together the final touch for their wedding reception just hours before their ceremony began.

Around the same time, just the year before, Josephine, Todd and I got to work together for the first time for their engagement session. It took place at the same spot where they would marry each other after one full trip around the moon! Trust me when I say they are one of the sweetest couples ever!

If you don’t believe in love at first sight, I would beg you to have a chat with Josephine. The moment she laid eyes on Todd, she turned to her friend and said “I’m going to marry that man”! Well, On August 27, 2022, her statement came true as they celebrated their love by saying “I do”. Goosebumps activated!

Josephine has a stunning eye for making things pretty. Her florals were absolutely out of this world, special thanks to Deluxe Floral Design! The soft pink and blush hues mixed in with pampas grass and eucalyptus was out of this world gorgeous! Definitely one of my top five favorite wedding flowers and bouquets I have ever photographed!

The venue itself offers a weekend full of beauty on it’s own but this Bride and Groom took it over the top! An intimate wedding ceremony and celebration was the perfect option for them. The got married in a field under a massive tree next to a breath taking view. Todd and Josephine added in a unique touch on their day by hiring a live wedding painter. Art of Anusha arrived before the ceremony, painted the scenery and during their ceremony, painted the Bride and Groom on the spot! She was fabulous and crazy talented!!

My jaw dropped as I walked into the reception space, which took place in a stunning barn on the property. Placed behind the cake, was a shine of gold framed 8×10″ photographs from their engagement session! Seeing that alone made me tear up a bit at the fact that they loved their engagement photos so much. Taking a moment here to remind you to print your photos!!!

Being able to celebrate with Josephine, Todd and all of their loved ones was such an honor!
