Hannah & Cody at The State Room

I’m calling this one The State Room Wedding because that’s exactly what it was! Two people who finally found each other, fell in love, and wanted to celebrate in a gorgeous venue in downtown Albany, NY. Although I’m not sure they expected this but we were faced with an accumulation of snow overnight and wet grounds on their wedding day. It was also a bit chilly but they stuck it out so we could create beautiful Bride and Groom photos outside. Props to their family and wedding party as well for bracing the chilly temps to get the outdoor photos Hannah & Cody desired!

The Couple

This sweet couple is a little dorky and loves to make really bad Dad jokes (they’re words, not mine!). They love spending time together, making memories with their son Brycen and watching sports together! They’re avid hockey fans, love boating in the summer and enjoy spending time with their loved ones. It was only fitting to have a grand celebration at The State Room in Albany, NY!

I’m starting to think these two really love the snow because it was snowy during their engagement session as well. Little did I know, Hannah coordinated her engagement session outfit to match her wedding colors! I’m not sure if she did that on purpose or not but I love it!

The State Room

The State Room is a stunning wedding venue located just a short walk away from the Capital Building. Which mean we were able to have the perfect mix or architecture and nature in their photos. Come to think of it, that was also similar to their engagement session in Downtown Saratoga as well!

Watching these two families officially become one was incredibly special! There was no shortage of super emotional parts of the day that had me in tears as well. I couldn’t be happier for Hannah, Cody, Brycen and their families! Congratulations to the Messier’s!
