Franklin Plaza Wedding - Jackie & Ryan

A Franklin Plaza Wedding in Troy, NY was the best way to kick off the 2023 wedding season. This stunning and historic wedding venue in Upstate New York is full of charm and beauty. It’s also home to where hundreds or thousands of couples have celebrated their wedding day. This reigns true for not only Jackie and Ryan but for Jackie’s big sister too! Franklin Plaza has been home to many family events throughout the years and now we add another wedding to that list!

Jackie and Ryan met at a Luke Bryan Concert over 5 years ago at Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Through mutual friends and country music their love story there began. After 5 years of dating, spending many weekends at Loon Lake, and making loads of memories with family and friends, Ryan asked Jackie to marry him!

It seems like they have a thing for special locations. They got engaged at a family lake house where tons of their memories are held. For their wedding they chose a place that their families have been to many times and also holds a lot of special moments for them!

From that moment throughout the next year or so, wedding planning commenced! Jackie just so happens to be family friends with Shannon of Prestigious by Shannon. With her comfortability of Franklin Plaza and throwing epic events, we all knew this wedding was going to be a party! Especially with Jake from The Jake Allen Show as their MC and DJ for the evening!

Jackie and Ryan along with their friends and family tore up the dance floor in celebration! They placed more of an emphasis on the people rather than all the little details. Which was perfect for their personalities and their relationship. They even had Jackie’s niece as their flower girl! This sweet thing brought the most incredible flower energy I have ever experienced! (Scroll to the bottom to see what I’m talking about!) What a blast of a wedding to be a part of and to document!
