Kyle & Christine – The Otesaga
Cooperstown, NY
You know the day is going to be amazing when you have a fabulous couple who have an adorable golden doodle, Izzy, and it’s the most beautiful Fall day you can imagine! When we got to Christine’s house we were greeted by two four legged friends who kept checking up on me while I photographed all her special details! They were the cutest! The morning was nice and relaxed, just as it should be and filled with smiles and laughter. At one point, Christine had all the girls give me their wedding bands for one photos and it might just be my most favorite detail shot I have ever taken. How stinking special is that?! Then all the ladies hopped on the trolly to head down the street to The Otesaga, one of my favorite venues! Once we arrived we didn’t have to wait long before it was time for these two to make it official!
Although it was a little chilly, it was absolutely stunning! They held hands and said their vow next to the lake with a breathtaking view of all the vivid Fall leaves. It was seriously picture perfect! Once sealed their handwritten vows with a kiss and slipped precious rings on each other’s fingers it was time to get back on the trolly and head for downtown! The Baseball Hall of Fame lives in downtown Cooperstown and is pretty special to Kyle and Christine so having pictures in front of it was a must! This just so happened to be perfect timing because as the sun was setting we drove up the street to find the light peaking out behind a church and created amazing portraits of these newlyweds! Once we got back to The Otesaga we took a quick pit stop on the golf course for a few more photos and then… it was PARTY TIME!!
When you invite people who love to dance and have a good time to your wedding and then throw in a great DJ, it’s ALWAYS a blast! If you could only see thence moves that were displayed that night! I love when couples get together on the floor and dance the night away while laughing the whole time! So many of their guests did this and it was such a fun thing to witness! Oh and did I mention that their cake had chocolate frosting?! From far away I thought it was a chocolate fountain at first glance and then I realized that their cake was completely covered in chocolate frosting! YUM!!
Congratulations Kyle & Christine!!
