Fairytale. If I had to sum up Katie and Jake’s wedding in one word “Fairytale” would be it. Katie told me that getting married at Font Hill Castle was a dream of hers from the time she was little! And that dream came true on September 18, 2021.

I actually met Katie and Jake way back in I think 2019 at Jake’s sisters wedding.  It just so happens that Katie was the one who caught the bouquet at Carrie‘s wedding and Jake just so happen to also catch the garter. So this wedding was long in the making!

Listening to Katie over the phone as we went through her wedding day timeline was super exciting! Although she may have been slightly nervous and little anxious I think she was mostly excited that this dream wedding was finally here! She has put so much effort into every little detail of her wedding day! From her fabulous vendor team to all the little details and stunning floral blooms!

Font Hill Castle itself was a dream location! Then you put together a fabulous bride and groom, their incredible families and an abundance of whimsical floral arrangements, you’ve got yourself a fairytale!

This bride loves all things vintage! From the earrings that included a little something blue, the style of her insanely beautiful engagement ring and then a stunning castle for a venue it all came together to exceed everyone’s expectations. 

Katie and Jake are the type of people who don’t love having a ton of attention on them so doing a first look was the best decision! It was the sweetest moment!! Jake teared up a little and Katie was just super excited to finally spend her wedding day with her soon to be husband. We went right into portraits along with a fabulous videography team, Hannah’s video crew. Everywhere you turned at this venue there was a new exciting place to go explore for pictures. 

The dress Katie chose to wear on her special day was breathtaking! She added a removable skirt to it which even made it more breathtaking. The floral arrangements that she dreamed of came to life in the most vivacious way. I honestly felt like I was walking through an enchanted forest the entire day! What we didn’t really expect was to have an 80+ degree weather day in the middle of September. 

These two were such troopers and went along with all the ideas I had for different locations for portraits. I think I probably could’ve photographed them twice as long as they did but I knew they really wanted to party with their family and friends so unfortunately I had to let them go.

Talk about party though! Once all of the formalities were done and the dance floor opened, everybody was on their feet! Parents, friends, siblings, danced the night away and it was so much fun to be a part of! Evan’s Entertainment keep the party going! They rounded out their night by sharing cigars, passing out cupcakes in a jar and celebrating like there was no tomorrow!

I truly feel like I could share every single photo from their wedding but I know I have to narrow it down so here are just a few of my absolute favorites from Katie and Jake’s wedding at foothill castle in Doylestown Pennsylvania!
