This is a no fluff kind of program! I’m giving you all the information straight so you can listen, apply what you learned, and start booking weddings as a second shooter! We all start somewhere and bringing your journey to becoming a wedding photographer all starts with being a second shooter first! It’s the quickest and easiest way to learn what it’s like on a wedding day. You’ll be able to gain so much on the job experience and capture tons of images to grow your wedding portfolio.

The Fully booked assistant photographer is an 8 week group coaching program designed to help photographers become wedding photographer through second shooting.

What you’ll learn inside of The Fully Booked Assistant Photographer

We’ll cover everything you’ll need to know in order to be an outstanding second photographer! The first module is all about where to look for second shooting jobs as well as how to book them. Included are also free email templates to send to photographers to inquire about working for them. There are certain things you must include in your inquiry email and my templates cover it all!

The second module we go over how you should prepare to photograph a wedding. What gear you should have, what an emergency kit is and what to put in it, questions to ask the lead photographer before the wedding, etc. Being a prepared second photographer is going to make you a hero on the wedding day and impress the photographer you’re working for.

Next we’ll move onto the wedding day itself! From what to photograph during the “getting ready” part of the day and what to say, all the way through the reception. Knowing where to be and what to shoot is a little daunting. A wedding is something that can never be redone so knowing ahead of time what you should be focusing on during each part of the day is essential.

In the fourth module you’ll learn what to do after a wedding day. If you loved working with that photographer, I share tips on how to get rebooked with them. You’ll also learn how to deliver the images to your photographer. As well as what to do with the images you took to grow your own portfolio.

Bonus Lessons

Included are two bonus lessons! Pricing is something that most photographers struggle with. As a second photographer it’s hard to know what your rate should be. I’m sharing the industry standards on second shooting rates and how to price yourself based on your experience. Pricing doesn’t have to be hard, as long as you know your worth!

The second bonus lessons we get to talk about how to stand out! There are a lot of photographers out there. It’s challenging to stand out in a saturated marked of wedding photographers. I’m giving you my secret sauce on how to stand out as a second shooter! Doing these things helped my book over 100 second shooting jobs over the course of 6 years. Which resulted in gaining a ton of wedding experience. Plus I had a huge portfolio to then market myself as a lead photographer to book my own weddings!

Group Coaching Calls

During this 8 week group coaching program for photographers, you’ll have the chance to ask me questions live! Every other week we’ll hop on a zoom call with other members of the program. You’ll have the opportunity to ask me questions and get immediate answers. These calls are also great for connecting with other photographers to cheer each other on and support one another! After all, you are all in the same boat so the other students know what you’re going through.

In addition to those bi-weekly live coaching calls there is also daily support available through our private slack channel. You’ll be able to chat with other students and ask questions and get support on a daily basis. There will also be reminders, important announcements, and a place for you to share your wins with myself and other photographers! We’re all in this together and will be cheering you on throughout your time within the program.
